THANK YOU COMMISSIONERS, THIS CASE IS BEFORE YOU THIS EVENING BECAUSE STAFF IS RECOMMENDING THE MODIFICATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AND ANTICIPATION FOR, POTENTIAL FUTURE REQUESTS FOR DRONE DELIVERY HUBS. THESE ARE A NEW TYPE OF USE AND FUNCTION THAT IS HAS POPPED UP ON IN SURROUNDING MUNICIPALITIES. SO THE ORDINANCE INCLUDES, SOME CRITERIA FOR THE DRONE DELIVERY HUBS. THEY ARE ALLOWED BY RIGHT. OR EXCUSE ME, THEY ARE PERMITTED BY SPECIFIC USE PERMIT AND THREE ZONING DISTRICTS. COMMERCIAL, COMMERCIAL CORRIDOR AND INDUSTRIAL. AND JUST AS EXPLAINED IN THE STAFF REPORT, SHOULD THERE BE A PLAN DEVELOPMENT CURRENTLY THAT HAS A BASE ZONING OF THESE, ONE OF THESE THREE DISTRICTS, IF THE IF THE ZONING, IF THE PLAN DEVELOPMENT LISTS SPECIFICALLY CERTAIN USES THAT ARE ONLY ALLOWED IN THAT DISTRICT, IT WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED IN THAT PD BECAUSE THAT THIS SPECIFIC USE IS NOT IN THE PD, AND SHOULD THE PD JUST STATE ANY ALLOWS ANY ALLOWED USES PER THE ZONING ORDINANCE, THEN IT COULD BE ALLOWED BY SCP. DOES FRISCO HAVE ANYTHING? DO WE KNOW FRISCO DOES HAVE LOCATIONS THAT HAVE THIS? I I DON'T KNOW CURRENTLY, BUT AS OF, LIKE EIGHT MONTHS AGO, THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING CODIFIED IN THEIR ORDINANCE, BUT THEY WERE TESTING IT OUT IN SOME LOCATIONS . SO ANY OTHER QUESTIONS? JUST A QUESTION. I SO IS THERE A DIFFERENCE? I MEAN I KNOW THERE'S A DIFFERENCE. EXPLAIN TO ME THE DIFFERENCE. SO DOES THIS ORDINANCE, AS YOU PROPOSING, PROVIDE FOR DIFFERENT KINDS OF, REQUIRE AGREEMENTS FOR THOSE TWO DIFFERENT PURPOSES? OR ARE THEY THE SAME REQUIREMENT, FOR INSTANCE, DO BOTH OF THEM REQUIRE AN SUP OR IT'S ONE USE? IT'S ONE USE. OKAY, BUT THERE ARE TWO DEFINITIONS BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO DEFINE THE COMMERCIAL DRONE DELIVERY HUB. LIKE WHAT IS THAT. AND THEN THE STAGING AREA IS A SPECIFIC LOCATION, BUT IT'S THE SAME. OKAY, SO FOR THE LAST TOWN COUNCIL MEETING ON TUESDAY THE 28TH, ON THE CONSENT AGENDA WAS THE NOTICE OF APPEALS THAT ARE ALL SITE PLANS THAT ARE APPROVED BY YOU GUYS GO TO THE COUNCIL, FOR THE REGULAR AGENDA THAT PROSPER ARTS PD THAT YOU GUYS SAW LAST MEETING WAS APPROVED FOR TWO, AT TOWN COUNCIL, AND SO FOR THE UPCOMING TOWN COUNCIL ITEMS ON THE 11TH, THAT SAME PD ORDINANCE AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT ARE UP ON THE CONSENT AGENDA, AND THEN THERE'S A LICENSE, MEANING MAINTENANCE HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT WITH THE GIN, ACROSS THE STREET, THAT IS FOR THEIR LOCATING, A GREASE TRAP AND A GAS METER WITHIN A TOWN, ALLEY.

AND SO IT'S JUST AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WE ARE OKAY WITH THAT, AND THAT'S JUST GOING TO GO STRAIGHT TO COUNCIL. NOW IT'S ALL ENCLOSED AND THEY CAN GO RIGHT TO THE SETBACKS. AND WHEN THEY DID THAT THE GAS METER IS UP AGAINST THE WALL. BUT TECHNICALLY IT'S JUST ENCROACHING INTO THE ALLEY RIGHT OF WAY. AND THEN ADJACENT TO THE BACK DOOR. THAT DIDN'T USED TO BE A BACK DOOR BECAUSE DIDN'T USED TO HAVE A WALL THERE. BUT NOW THERE'S A BACK DOOR AND THEY WANT TO HAVE A SMOKING AREA BACK THERE, AND THEY'RE JUST GOING TO HAVE A LITTLE SCREEN THAT GOES TEMPORARY THAT KIND OF BLOCKS OFF THE VIEW OF PEOPLE THAT ARE SMOKING BACK THERE.
