GOOD EVENING. THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS FROM 186 296 STUDENTS. UM THERE'S ACTUALLY BEEN A COUPLE OF THE AMENDMENTS OF THE SPECIFIC EAST PERMIT THERE'S ONE COUPLE OF YEARS AGO. ACTUALLY I THINK IT WAS A LITTLE BIT FURTHER THAN THAT. AND THEN THERE IS AN AMENDMENT FOR CHANGING THE SQUARE FOOTAGE. AND NOW THERE ARE MANY IT AGAIN. UM IN ADDITION, BESIDES THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS, THE SQUARE FOOTAGE IS CHANGING AS WELL. IT WAS PREVIOUSLY APPROVED AT 10,273 SQUARE FEET AND THE APPLICANTS NOW PROPOSING 13,268. AS YOU ALL ARE AWARE, UM FOR THE ZONING ORDINANCE, ANY INCREASE IN BUILDING SQUARE FOOTAGE FROM ITS SIZE OF THE TIME OF THE S U P WAS GRANTED BY GREATER THAN 10% REQUIRES A NEW SPECIFIC EXPERIMENT. SO THAT'S REALLY THE REASON WHY THEY'RE HERE TODAY FOR AN AMENDMENT TO SPECIFIC USE PERMIT 19. UM WE HAVE LOOKED AT SORT OF ALL THE REQUIREMENTS AS FAR AS FOR PARKING, UM, THERE'S REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PLAYGROUND AREA PER PER STUDENT. UM, AND THAT DOES ALL MEET THE ZONING ORDINANCE. HMM. AS YOU SOMETIMES SEE THROUGHOUT THE DFW THAT YOU CAN SEE THE ATTENDANCE, SO I WOULD LIKE TO ALSO POINT OUT THAT THEY ARE SCREENING THEM, AND I THINK THAT'S THAT'S GREAT. THE GOAL WAS TO SORT OF PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH INSTEAD OF JUST PIECEMEAL IN EACH OF THE COMMUNICATION TOWERS. UM OBVIOUSLY FOR THIS SUBJECT PROPERTY YOU KNOW, AS I TRY TO KIND OF HIGHLIGHTED IN RED. IT'S NOT WITHIN YOU KNOW THE AREAS OF OPPORTUNITY. UM AND I'LL REFER THAT TO THE APPLICANT AND WHY AND WHY IT MAKES SENSE.
