UPDATE.APOLOGIES WE HAD SOME AUDIO ISSUES WITH THE FEED FROM THIS MEETING. GOING INTO ANOTHER ROOM WHERE ANOTHER MEETING IS GOING ON. SO WE'RE TRANSFER GRAHAM ALL AROUND THAT FIGURED OUT, SO HOPEFULLY THEY LIKE THE SOUND OF MY VOICE. UH UM. SO IT'S BEEN A COUPLE OF MONTHS SINCE OUR LAST MEETING. WE'VE HAD A FEW OF OUR SUFFERED DOWNTOWN EVENTS. GOING THROUGHOUT THE SUMMERTIME, THE MOST RECENT ONE WAS THE JULY 16TH ONE IN THE SUN. COME DISCOVER DOWNTOWN, AND I APOLOGIZE. I FORGOT, UM BEFORE I GET INTO THIS, SO I HAD MENTIONED BACK IN JUNE EARLY JUNE THAT WE HAD HIRED TO UM, FULL TIME RECREATION STAFF RECREATION SPECIALIST, AND THEY'RE ACTUALLY HERE IN ATTENDANCE, SO WE HIRED BRANDT HOLLAND. AND YOU CAN STAND UP WITH BRAD HOLLAND AND CECILY FANNIN. UM SO THEY BOTH STARTED ABOUT A WEEK FROM EACH OTHER.
ASSESS ALY IS WORKING MORE DIRECTLY WITH SOME OF THE RECREATION PROGRAMS AND BRANDT IS, UM, DID WORKING RECREATION AS WELL BUT ALSO FOCUSING MORE ON THE SPECIAL EVENTS SIDE. UM BRANDT HAS WORKED FOR A COUPLE OF CITIES IN THE DFW AREA, THE CITY OF GREAT BAR IN THE CITY OF LEWISVILLE. AND CECILY CAME FROM THE I M C A, SO THEY WERE ABLE TO SURVIVE THE SUMMER WITH SUMMER CAMPS. UM AND THEY'VE BEEN A GREAT ADDITION TO THE TEAM, AND WE'RE LOOKING FORWARD TO MANY, MANY MORE YEARS WITHIN WORKING FOR IT. WELCOME WELCOME. UM. SO UM, LIKE I WAS SAYING ON JULY 16TH. WE HAD OUR FUN IN THE SUN. EVENT. THIS WAS PART OF THE DISCOVERED DOWNTOWN SERIES. THIS WAS AN EVENT WHERE WE REALLY WANT TO FOCUS ON BRINGING IN SOME WATER FEATURES. UM IT'S YOU
[00:05:03]
KNOW, OBVIOUSLY 100 DEGREES JUST ABOUT EVERY SINGLE DAY. AND SO WE WERE ABLE TO TRANSFORM THE TOWN HALL PARKING LOT, AND WE WERE ABLE TO ADD, UM YOU KNOW, IF YOU GIANT WATER SLIDES A BOUNCE HOUSE. YOU KNOW, WE BROUGHT OUT SOME FROZEN ICE CREAM DIPPING DOTS AND KONA SHAVED ICE. AND SO, UM, HERE'S SOME PICTURES. WE ALSO HAD SOME FACE PAINTING GOING ON. SO THESE ARE SOME PICTURES FROM THE EVENT. ENDED UP WITH AROUND 200 TO 250 PEOPLE, WHICH, UM WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WITH CONSIDERING HOW HOT IT IS. UM SO THIS WAS A SUCCESSFUL EVENT ANDE DISCOVERED DOWNTOWN. UM BUT, YEAH, IT WAS A GREAT DAY. IT WAS A THREE HOUR EVENT AND, UM, DEFINITELY THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX ON ONE OF THESE EVENTS, SO WE WERE LIKE WE WERE VERY HAPPY ABOUT THE ATTENDANCE THERE. SO WE HAD SOME KIDS WITH SOME ADULTS. WE HAVE THE C C. THE TREAT ENGAGEMENT COMMITTEE OUT THERE AND THEN WE ALSO HAVE SOME COUNCIL MEMBERS OUT THERE. WHERE AND THEN ALSO MAYOR BRISTOL. SO IT WAS A IT WAS A VERY SUCCESSFUL EVENT. AND THEN OUR THIRD EVENT. COMING UP IS THE PAUSE ON BROADWAY EVENT. THIS IS A THE EVENT WERE RUNNING FROM ONE PM TO FOUR PM ON SEPTEMBER 10TH. DOG FOCUSED EVENT. AND BASICALLY, WE'RE GOING TO HAVE SOME DIFFERENT FEATURES. WE'RE LOOKING TO HAVE A SMALL FENCED AN OBSTACLE COURSE FOR SOME OF THE DOGS. WE'RE GONNA HAVE A SMALL STAGE WHERE WE'RE HOPING TO HAVE A COUPLE OF PERFORMANCES FROM A LOCAL GROUP AND THEN ALSS , SO WE ARE ENCOURAGING EVERYONE YOU KNOW, LEAVES THEIR DOGS REALLY THE ONLY AREA THAT WE WOULD YOU KNOW, BE OKAY WITH NOT LEASING IS IN THE FENCED IN AREA SO THEY AREN'T ABLE TO RUN OFF. BUT LIKE SAYS FROM ONE PM TO FOUR PM ON SEPTEMBER 10TH. AND WE'RE DEFINITELY LOOKING FORWARD TO IT WILL BE ON BROADWAY STREET , SO WE WILL BE USING THE TOWN HALL PARKING LOT, UM FOR GENERAL PARKING, PUBLIC PARKING. WE'LL HAVE A COUPLE OF FOOD VENDORS OUT THERE AS WELL. AND SO WE'RE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS ONE. THIS WOULD BE THE FIRST DOG FOCUSED, SPECIAL EVENT THAT THE TOWN IS HOSTED. SO WE ACTUALLY PURCHASE UM, ROLLOUT ARTIFICIAL TURF THAT WE USED FOR THE FUN IN THE SUN. WE PUT IT IN BETWEEN THE INFLATABLE, SO IT JUST ALLOWED BECAUSE IT WAS ALL CONCRETE OUT THERE, SO JUST ALLOWED AN AREA FOR THE KIDS TO KIND OF WALK IN BETWEEN, AND YOU KNOW, NOT FURTHER FEET, BUT WE'RE GOING TO BRING OUT THE SAME THING FOR THE DOGS AND JUST KIND OF HAVE IT SET UP IN THE BROADWAY AND AREAS WHERE THERE'S A WHOLE LOT OF TRAFFIC ON THAT WAS DEFINITELY A THOUGHT THAT WE HAD WHEN WE WERE PLAYING THIS THING OUT BECAUSE SEPTEMBER 10TH. WE'RE STILL PROBABLY LOOKING AT MID UPPER NINETIES.YEAH NO, IT'S A BIG, BIG SOCIAL MEDIA POINT, YOU KNOW, MAKE SURE YOU WALK YOUR DOGS AT NIGHT OR EARLY IN THE MORNING AND STAY IN THE GRASS AS MUCH AS YOU CAN, BUT THAT WAS ONE OF THE RESOURCES. WE'RE GOING TO USE A COMEBACK THAT. AND SO THE FINAL DISCOVER DOWNTOWN EVENT. THE MOONLIGHT MOVIE, SO WE HAD ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED THIS IN APRIL WINS WERE OVER 20 MPH. SO WE HAD TO RESCHEDULE. UM WE HAD ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST , STAFF GOT TOGETHER AND DECIDED PROBABLY A BETTER BE BEST THAT WE PUSHED THIS THING DOWN TO SEPTEMBER LITTLE BIT JUST BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH IT'S GOING TO BE AT NIGHT, IT'S STILL GOING TO BE VERY HOT. ESPECIALLY THIS SUMMER. WE'RE GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW. SO WE MOVED IT TO SEPTEMBER. THE 24TH. WE'RE GOING. IT'S BASICALLY THE SAME SET UP AS THE ORIGINAL APRIL EVENT. HOW THEY INFLATABLE SCREEN SET UP. WE'LL HAVE A COUPLE OF VENDORS OUT THERE. UM, HAVE SOME POPCORN AND MOVIE SHOWING THE MOVIE AND CONTENT. OH, SO WE'RE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS ONE AND THIS WILL BE THE CONCLUSION OF. DISCOVERED DOWNTOWN SERIES AND THEN ONCE WE'VE FINISHED WITH THESE EVENTS ALL RIGHT INTO PLANNING OUT 2023 STAFF IS WITH THE WAY THAT SOME OF THESE EVENTS HAVE GOTTEN THIS PAST YEAR STAFF IS LOOKING AT MARCH. MAY MAYBE JUNE LEAVE JULY AND AUGUST ALONE. CLEARLY AND THEN HOP INTO SEPTEMBER, UM SO THAT'S GOING TO BE THE THAT'S GONNA BE THE DIRECTION THAT WE'RE WE'RE HEADING FOR THE 2023. DISCOVER DOWNTOWN EVENTS. SO THIS WOULD
[00:10:05]
BE A LITTLE BIT COOLER, AND WE'RE HOPING TO GET A COUPLE 100 OUT THERE. YES, SATURDAY FROM THE ACTUAL EVENT STARTS AT SEVEN BUT PROBABLY WON'T SUPPLEMENTED BY A EIGHT OR 8 30. MESSAGE COMFORTABLE ABOUT TWO HOUR MOVIE. THAT SUMMER. SO. TO TALK. SURE.WELL, YOU GUYS GIVE A GREAT REVIEW, AND I MEAN FOR EVERYBODY UP HERE. I MEAN, I KNOW I'M VERY APPRECIATIVE THAT OF IT HAVE EITHER A HERD NEIGHBORS COMMENTS SOME OF THE PEOPLE WENT TO THE WATER EVENT. UM WE WENT. WE BROUGHT LIKE I THINK WE HAD 22 PEOPLE FROM WHITLEY PLACE THAT CAME TO THE BOOTS ON BROADWAY TO SEE GARY PENAN. AWESOME AND SO THAT WAS REALLY COOL. I LOVE FROM A MARKETING STANDPOINT. UM I THINK KIND OF LAUNCHING IT. DOING IT AS A SERIES AND AS DOWNTOWN EVOLVES AND WE GET MORE YOU KNOW, BRICK AND MORTAR PLACES. I MEAN, I PLUG INTO THEM AND HAVE THEM. START. GIVING THE RECREATIONAL TEAM. A LITTLE BIT OF A PLUG TO I LIKE TO REALLY COOL OF THAT. YES, NONE WERE. YOU KNOW, THAT'S BESIDES PROVIDING THE SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY, YOU KNOW, DEFINITELY. ONE OF THE MAIN OBJECTIVES IS TO HELP BRING THAT FOOT TRAFFIC.
YOU KNOW, DOWN TO DOWNTOWN. GIVE IT SOME EXPOSURE. UM YOU KNOW THERE IS A DOWNTOWN MR PLAN.
DOWNTOWN MASTER PLAN OUT THERE, SO I MEAN, THIS IS THESE ARE ALL STEPS MOVING IN THAT DIRECTION.
SURE. FIND OR SOMETHING ON THE CONCERT SERIES THAT HE SAID IT. OH SORRY. THANK YOU, UM, IS MAYBE SOME SORT OF PROSPER. PROSPER TALENT. COMING TO DOWNTOWN. UM FOR THE FUTURE. AND JUST TO BRING IN SOME OF SOME OF OUR OWN TALENT ALSO BECAUSE I'M SURE WE'VE GOT IT. ABSOLUTELY PINELLAS. FANTASTIC DON'T GET ME WRONG. I LOVE GARY P. NONE UM, BUT I AND I THINK DOING THAT, IN THE LIKE YOU'RE JUST SAYING IN THE IN THE SPRINGTIME OR MICAH'S WOULD BE THANKFUL. DEFINITELY GET A LOT MORE DRAWING AND THE MORE WE DO IT, THE MORE PEOPLE THE MORE RECOGNITION AND UM, I THINK IT'S GOING TO BE GET HIM. REALLY CATCH HOLD WITH THE TOWN. OH, ANYBODY ELSE? AND DAN BROUGHT UP A GOOD POINT. WE WILL BE MEETING NEXT. WEDNESDAY WITH THE BUSINESS ALLIANCE DOWNTOWN BUSINESS ALLIANCE TO JUST DISCUSS THE PUZZLE ON BROADWAY.
WE HAD A FEW UPDATES ON THAT AND THEN JUST TO REMIND EVERYONE ABOUT THE MOONLIGHT MOVIE BECAUSE THIS IS CAUSE ON BROADWAY DOG FOCUSED ON MIGHT MOVING MORE FAMILY. KIDS FOCUSED , SO TRY AND GET SOME OF THOSE BUSINESSES THAT THAT'S MORE OF THEIR TARGET AUDIENCE AND, YOU
[00:15:02]
KNOW, DROP OFF SOME FLYERS AND SOME, YOU KNOW, HOPEFULLY PUT SOMETHING UP THAT WILL JUST KIND OF GENERATE SOME BUZZ ABOUT IT AS WE'RE LEAVING, TOO. BALL MONTHS, WHICH IS CRAZY TO SAY.THANK YOU, TREVOR. AND THEN LAST. NO, IT'S OK. LAST SO. LAST WEEK WAS OUR FINAL WEEK OF OUR SUMMER CAMPS. START UP THE LAST WEEK OF MAY RAN ALL THE WAY TO LAST WEEK. SO WE END UP WITH 939 TOTAL REGISTRATIONS. AND UM, WHAT I HAD MENTIONED BEFORE WAS IN 2021. WE WERE WE ECLIPSE THAT 900 RANGE SO WE WERE STAFF WAS, YOU KNOW GOING TO TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT WE DID THIS YEAR AND SEE OKAY WAS 2021. POST COVID. EVERYONE WANTS TO GET OUT AND DO SOMETHING, OR IS THIS REALLY THE DIRECTION THAT WE'RE MOST LIKELY HEADING? AS FAR AS PARTICIPATION GOES AND REGISTRATION? SO TO BE ONE YEAR LATER, PRETTY MUCH. TO THE SAME NUMBER. I THINK THE NUMBER LAST YEAR WAS LIKE 9 51 OR 9 60 SOMEWHERE AROUND THERE, SO THAT'S DEFINITELY SOMETHING TO KEEP AN EYE ON. AND THEN JUST LIKE I SAID, KEEP LOOKING YEAR AFTER YEAR AND IS THAT NUMBER CONTINUING TO CLIMB? DOES IT DECLINE AND THEN THIS WILL ALSO BE ADDED WITH TYPICALLY IN THE FALL TIME I'LL PRESENT SOME DATA. THAT HAS JUST KIND OF SHOWS. THE GROWTH OF THE PART OF THE DIVISION AS FAR AS NUMBER CLASSES OFFERED REGISTRATIONS AND THEN HOW THAT TIES IN WITH THE POPULATION GROWTH OF THE TOWN. UM SO I'M LOOKING TO HAVE THAT READY FOR, UM, PARKS BOARD. NEAR FUTURE. JUST GIVE US AN IDEA. ON POWER. HOW WE'RE DOING REGISTRATION WISE. THE NUMBER OF OPPORTUNITIES WE HAVE. AND THEN BIG. THANK YOU TO HAVE RAISED MILK CHURCH. UM THEY'VE BEEN REALLY GOOD PARTNERS WITH THE DEPARTMENT AND HOSTING THESE CLASSES, PACIFIC LEE IN THE MIDDLE. THEY THE BASKETBALL CAMP THAT WE HOLD THERE, AND WE DID. TWO CAMPS THIS YEAR. BUT THEY'VE BEEN GREAT PARTNERS. WE LOVE WORKING WITH THEM. I KNOW THERE'S SOME CONSTRUCTION GOING ON OVER THERE AND MAKE THINGS A LITTLE BIT CONFUSING ON GETTING TO THAT FACILITY, BUT, UM, YOU KNOW, AS WE CONTINUE TO GROW TO REACH OUT TO THE DIFFERENT NONPROFITS, DIFFERENT FACILITIES IN THE TOWN JUST TO SEE WHAT KIND OF PARTNERSHIP WE CAN COME UP WITH AND HOPEFULLY YOU KNOW, THIS WILL GIVE US MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO CONTINUE TO USE SOME OF THESE FACILITIES AND THINGS THAT THE TOWN DOESN'T OWN YET. AS FAR AS LIKE BASKETBALL CHORDS. YOU KNOW YOU'RE DIFFERENT PROGRAMMING. AND THINGS LIKE THAT. THANK YOU. THANKS, TREVOR. ITEM FIVE B PARK DEVELOPMENT UPDATE. ALL RIGHT.
GOOD EVENING, EVERYONE. UM GLAD TO SEE EVERYONE AGAIN. UM WE'VE BEEN BUSY OUT THERE EVEN DURING THE SUMMER WHERE IT'S BEEN TRIPLE DIGITS AND DELICIOUS HAVING ISSUES WITH SUPPLY SHORTAGES AND INFLATION, BUT WE'RE BLOWING AND GOING. JUST SOME MORE AGAIN HIKE AND BIKE TRAIL THAT'S BEEN DEVELOPED. THIS IS CAMBRIDGE. THEY FINALIZE SOME OF THE LANDSCAPING, I THINK PREVIOUSLY HAVE SHOWN SOME YOU KNOW, DURING CONSTRUCTION, THEY ACTUALLY HAVE QUITE A BIT OF TRAIL. I THINK THEY'RE DOING ABOUT A MILES WORTH OF TRAIL AS IT GOES ALONG PRESTON ROAD AND COLEMAN. SO, UM RELATED TO IT NOT SHOWN IN THE PICTURE. THERE IS A MEDIAN IN THERE, AND THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT WILL ACTUALLY, I THINK JUST GOT DONE WITH THE BIDS AND SHOULD GO TO BED AWARD LATER NEXT MONTH, AND THEN THEY'LL START CONSTRUCTION ON THE MEDIA TO DO MORE LANDSCAPING, IRRIGATION PROOF MINTS THAT MATT GETS TO TAKE CARE OF. SO UM, WE'VE ALSO WORKED, UM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NUMBER 15, WHICH IS IN THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND THE STAR TRAIL DEVELOPMENT. UH UM. I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S GOING TO NAME THAT, VALERIE. DO YOU KNOW IF IT'S BEEN IT IS JOYCE HALL. JOYCE HEART ELEMENTARY. THANK YOU, CAMERON. SO I BELIEVE THEY JUST OPENED UP AND HAD THEIR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. UM THE NEIGHBORHOOD PARK STAR METAL PARK IS BEING BUILT RIGHT NEXT TO IT. SO WE'VE BEEN WORKING WITH THE BLUE STAR GROUP. ON DOING THOSE IMPROVEMENTS OUT THERE, SO THEY'VE BEEN DOING ALL THE HIKING BACK TRAILS. UM THEY GOT THEY'RE WORKING ON THE PLAYGROUND. UM AND THEY'VE BEEN WORKING ON THE BASKETBALL COURT OUT THERE. SO THAT'S BEEN UM, SOME GOOD PROGRESSION. LET'S SEE HERE. TANNER'S MILL THEY'VE BEEN BLOWING AND GOING OUT. UM IN THE CAMBRIDGE DEVELOPMENT OR I'M SORRY, WEST OF CAMBRIDGE WITHIN TANNER'S MILLS, SOUTH OF THE HIGH SCHOOL, THEY ARE ALMOST DONE WITH THE IRRIGATION.
[00:20:01]
THEY'VE HAD TO GO OUT THERE. PAUL A BUNCH OF ROCKS AND CONCRETE THAT THEY FOUND AS REMNANTS OF THE DEVELOPER HAD LEFT IN THE GROUND, SO WE PULLED ALL THOSE OUT AND ARE STARTING TO, UM, FINISH THE IRRIGATION AND THEY THEY'RE HYDRO MULCHING THIS WEEK ACTUALLY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SUMMER. HEAT TO GET GRASS ESTABLISHED AND THEY ARE WORKING ON A BASKETBALL COURT OUT THERE AS WELL. AND UM, SODDING CERTAIN AREAS, SO THERE MOMENT OF GOING AND THEY'RE ON TRACK RIGHT NOW THAT FINISHED BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR. MINUS THE PAVILION CIVILIAN IT WAS SHARING IT WITH US. THE AUDIENCE HERE THAT CIVILIANS HAVE HAD ABOUT 11 MONTHS LEAD TIME. JUST FOR MATERIAL SHORTAGES, SO THEY'RE GOING TO COME BACK AND PUT IT IN IN THE SPRING, SO UM, THAT TOWN HALL ON OUR WALL, WHICH IS OUT FRONT HERE ON THE SOUTH SIDE. UM THEY'VE BEEN WORKING ON THAT AS WELL. AND THERE BEEN GETTING THE PLAQUES ORDERED, AND THEY'LL BE WORKING ON PAPERS. A COUPLE OF WEEKS AND THERE AND RIP THAT WILL ACTUALLY BE THERE'S SOME BROKEN PANELS OUT THERE, SO THEY'LL BE RIPPING THOSE OUT AND REPLACING THEM. THOSE WERE, UM, DAMAGED PRIOR TO THIS, BUT IT MADE SENSE TO ADD IT IN THE WORK WHILE THEY'RE OUT THERE MOBILIZED SO THEY SHOULD BE DONE WITH THAT, BY THE END OF SEPTEMBER IS WHAT THE COUNTRY IS WHAT THE TIMELINE IS RIGHT NOW, SO THAT'S ALL I HAD AT THIS MOMENT. UM AH, WE WILL. ALSO HOPEFULLY NEXT MONTH OR IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS. GIVE AN UPDATE ON PECAN GROVE WHERE WE GOT BITS BACK ON THAT WORK GOING THROUGH THEM RIGHT NOW AND HOPEFULLY TO AWARD A CONTRACT IN SEPTEMBER AS WELL AS WITH LAKEWOOD PRESERVE. WE'RE WORKING WITH BEHINDS GROUP ON THAT ONE AS WELL. SO WE'RE GOT MORE IN THE HOPPER AND WE'RE JUST JUST TRYING TO STAY AFLOAT AND KEEP MAKING SURE THAT OR ON TAXES. DOING THE WHITE PEOPLE WATCHING. WE CAN HEAR YOU GREAT. OR ANY QUESTIONS FOR ME.ALRIGHT. THANKS, GUYS. THANK YOU, PAUL. ITEM FIVE C PARK OPERATIONS UPDATE. MR FOR. RIGHT NOW WE'VE GOT ALL THE SPORTS STARTING. BASEBALL ACTUALLY WAS DELAYED THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO START THIS MONDAY. DELIGHT FOR SCHOOL STAFF TO START NEXT MONDAY. WALL ACROSS SOCCER FULL GROWN GOING TO START. GAME. A COUPLE OF WEEKS. WE STARTED THE YES, GOLF COURSE. WE STARTED LAYING THE PADS AND WHEN THE BASKETS OF HOLOCAUST STUFF THIS WEEK. WE'LL FINISH THAT NEXT WEEK. RIGHT NOW. WE'RE JUST TRYING TO MAINTAIN WITH THE HEAT, AND LUCKILY WE GOT A LITTLE OVER AN INCH OF RAIN YESTERDAY. SAME AS ALWAYS, AS MAINTENANCE AND TRYING TO UPDATE CONTRACTS AND. FOR COOL WEATHER. THANK YOU, MATT. ITEM FIVE D PARK DIRECTORS UPDATE WITH PARK DIRECTOR DAN BAKER. I NEED TO GET SOME WALK UP MUSIC, I GUESS, TOO. UM FIRST THING I WANT TO SAY IS JUST HOW PROUD I AM OF THE STAFF. UH UM, WE'RE SUPER HAPPY TO HAVE BRAND FESTIVELY WITH US. UH BUT OUR REGULARS TOO. IT'S BEEN A CHALLENGING SUMMER, CAN YOU? I MEAN, YOU CAN IMAGINE WHAT WHAT MATT AND THE PARKS OPERATIONS GROUP HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH WITH NO RAIN. I MEAN, LITERALLY, NO RAIN SPAWNING TO THINK THAT WE BETTER PROBABLY ARE TWO COOLEST DAYS AND MOST RAIN IN AUGUST. WHATEVER. JUNE UM SO JUST. THINK WELL OF THEM, PLEASE, AND SEE A COUPLE OF PLAYERS FOR US BECAUSE THEY'VE HAD A BUSY BUSY. UH, TREVOR AND HIS GROUP WITH THE EVENTS IN ALL THE KIDS RUNNING OUT OF CAMPS AND STUFF. SO, UM WE LOVE HAVING THEM BUT IT IS A LITTLE BIT OF A RELIEF ONCE WE GET INTO THE FOLLOWING, GIVING BACK THE VALERIE AND HER HER FOLKS SO UM SO JUST A COUPLE OF THINGS I WANT TO RUN BY YOU, UM WE DO NEED TO SET UP A PARKS BOARD PARKS BOARD TOUR, SO WE'D LIKE TO TAKE YOU ALL JUST SHOW YOU SOME OF OUR PROJECTS GOING ON MAYBE SOME LOCATIONS OF SOME TEACHER BOND PROJECTS. UM INITIALLY, I WAS THINKING OCTOBER, BUT WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TO NEW MEMBERS IN OCTOBER. UM SO WE CAN PUSH TO NOVEMBER 10TH,
[00:25:03]
WHICH WOULD BE THE NOVEMBER MEETING. THE PROBLEM WE'RE GONNA HAVE THERE IS SUNSETS AT FIVE, BASICALLY, 5 30, SO WE WOULD HAVE TO START EARLY TO REALLY GIVE YOU GUYS A SIGNIFICANT TOUR AND WE CAN CERTAINLY I KNOW WE'VE TALKED A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO. SEVERAL MONTHS AGO ABOUT KIND OF PUTTING SOMETHING TOGETHER, AND IT JUST KEEPS ROLLING OVER. UM SO I'M GOING TO SEND SOMETHING OUT. AND IT'S PERFECTLY FINE. IF YOU GUYS ARE LIKE, HEY, I CAN'T GET THERE BY FOUR O'CLOCK TO GET OUT, AND WE THINK IT'S GOING TO PROBABLY BE A GOOD HOUR HOUR AND A HALF. TO RUN YOU GUYS AROUND. UM JUST TO SHOW YOU HOW WE CAN CERTAINLY TRY TO DO IT NOVEMBER OR WE CAN PUSH TO THE SPRING. WE HAVE A LITTLE MORE DAYLIGHT, SO THAT'S SOMETHING I'LL SEND OUT TO YOU ALL JUST TO GET MAYBE A VOTE. AND JUST SAY YEA OR NAY FOR NOVEMBER, AND IF IT'S IF IT'S MORE KNEES THAN YEARS, THEN WE'LL, UH WE'LL PICK ANOTHER DATE AND WE HAVE A LITTLE MORE SUNLIGHT, BUT WE'VE BEEN KIND OF TALKING ABOUT IT FOR A WHILE, AND I FEEL BADLY THAT WE HAVEN'T MOVED ON THAT. BUT MOST LIKELY, UM WE'LL JUST GET A VAN POWER BODY IN AND JUST GIVE YOU IF YOUR TOUR WHAT WE'VE GOT GOING AND WHAT WOULD THAT COMING UP? SO YOU'LL SEE SOMETHING FROM YOU SOON ON THAT AND THEN I ALSO WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW, UM IN DECEMBER DECEMBER 8TH, WHICH IS THE SAME NIGHT THAT WE WOULD NORMALLY MEET. WE'RE GOING TO CANCEL. PARKS BOARD MEETING BECAUSE THAT'S OUR NIGHT FOR THE BOARDS, COMMISSIONS RECEPTION. SO WE WILL STILL SEE YOU THAT EVENING. WE HOPE, BUT WE JUST WON'T HAVE A BUSINESS MEETING AND TYPICALLY AROUND THE HOLIDAYS. I THINK THAT'S PRETTY STANDARD FOR A LOT OF LOT OF FORD'S. IF THERE'S SOMETHING THAT COMES UP THAT WE'RE GONNA NEED YOU ALL LEADER. ALL'S, UM BLESSING ON THEN WE'LL FIGURE THAT OUT. YOU KNOW, WE SCHEDULE ANOTHER DATE FOR PUSHED TO JANUARY SO UM IS ANYBODY HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FOR ME? OKAY? THANK YOU, DAN. I DON'T NUMBER SIX REQUEST FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS ANYBODY. LOOKS LIKE THERE ARE NOSTS FOR FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS. ITEM NUMBER SEVEN ADJOURNED. DO WE HAVE A MOTION? THERE IS A MOTION FROM BOB BENSON TO ADJOURN. DO WE HAVE A SECOND?
